According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours 14,379 samples have been analyzed in 112 RT-PCR laboratories, 15 gene expert laboratories and 10 rapid antigen laboratories throughout the country, for a total of 138 laboratories. So far 26 lakh 8,538 samples have been tested.
Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 15.30 percent, so far the total detection rate is 16.6 percent. The recovery rate is 63.09 percent and the mortality rate is 1.43 percent.
So far, 23 lakh 3 thousand 60 samples have been tested under government management. And 5 lakh 64 thousand 46 have been under private management.
Of those who have died in the last day, 24 are men and 12 are women. Of them, 32 died in the hospital and 4 at home.
Of these, 21 were over 60 years old, 9 were between 51 and 60 years old, 3 were between 41 and 50 years old, 2 were between 31 and 40 years old and 1 was between 21 and 30 years old.
Among those killed were 25 residents of the Dhaka division, 6 residents of the Chittagong division and 4 residents of the Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Mymensingh divisions.
Of the 6,084 people killed so far in the country, 5,255 are men and 1,619 are women.
Of these, 3,071 were over 60 years old.
