Own report: The Delhi BJP has started its activities following the death of a BJP worker in the Uttarkanya campaign. All India Party Chairman JP Nadda called Dilip Ghosh today to ask him about the whole matter.

According to BJP sources, Nadda heard the whole thing from BJP state chairman Dilip Ghosh. She was also on the Uttarkanya expedition today. Dilip Ghosh told Nadda everything. Later, Nadda informed the Union Interior Minister Amit Shah about the BJP’s Uttarkanya Abhiyan in Siliguri and the death of the BJP activist, Ulen Roy. Nadda also asked about the role of the police in the BJP campaign.

The state president of the BJP is known to have told Nadda how the police had beaten the protesting BJP workers. The workers were also attacked. At least 40 BJP supporters were injured. The BJP leadership met them.

Meanwhile, a BJP delegation approached the governor today about police torture and the death of BJP activist Ulen Roy during the Uttarkanya operation in Siliguri. Rahul Sinha, Locket Chatterjee, Joy Prakash Majumder, and others were on that team. After meeting with the governor, Rahul Sinha told reporters that there was no democracy in the state. The police do what they want. If Mamata Banerjee has the power, conduct a judicial investigation into the death of a BJP worker in Siliguri. In this context, Dilip Ghosh also informed Nadda about the meeting of the BJP delegation with the governor.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders and activists will hold a candlelight procession from the BJP state headquarters on Tuesday to protest the death of Ulen Roy.
