The police have discovered the murder of day laborer Abdul Aziz Mollah in Dahakula upazila of Satkhira. His wife Rokeya Khatun and his nephew Nazrul Islam were questioned and the murder mystery revealed.
According to the police, Rokeya killed her husband after having an affair with her nephew Nazrul. The two killed the day laborer Aziz by cutting him with a knife. They confessed to the murder during questioning.
Satkhira (Sadar Circle) Additional Police Superintendent Mirza Salah said that some locals were questioned after the murder of day laborer Abdul Aziz Mollah. The victim’s wife, Rokeya Khatun, and his nephew Nazrul Islam, were questioned if their behavior was suspicious. At one point, they confessed that Abdul Aziz had been taken to the back of the house in a bamboo garden on Saturday night and hacked to death with a sharp knife due to an immoral relationship. At the same time, the Ramada used in the killings was seized on the basis of information provided by them. The two have been sent to court to testify under section 164, which shows their arrest.
It is worth mentioning that Abdul Aziz Mollah from the Dahakula Mollapara village of Brahmarajpur, union of Satkhira Sadar upazila, was stabbed to death in a bamboo garden at the back of his home on Saturday night. Saiful Islam, the youngest son of the deceased, filed a case at the Sadar police station the following day.
