Debor killed for giving her husband a video!

Madhab Debnath was killed in a house in Chittagong. Bhabhi Bithi Debnath (24) testified under Section 164 in Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court Sarwar Jahan on Sunday.

The officer in charge of the Kotwali (OC) Police, Mohammad Mohsin, confirmed the information.

The accused Bithi Debnath village house is Nathbari in Jatrapur Muradnagar Upazila Union of Comilla. The house of her husband Pintu Debnath is also in the same upazila. They used to rent a house in Opium Alley, Teribazar Bailin below the Kotwali Police Station in Chittagong. Debor Madhav Debnath’s body was recovered from under Bithi Debnath’s bed at the home last Friday night.

The police formed two teams under the supervision of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (DC-South) Deputy Commissioner SM Mehedi Hasan and brought six family members to the police station for questioning. At one point, Bithi Debnath was arrested and the mobile phone used by victim Madhav Debnath was recovered from the channel behind the scene.

Kotwali Police Station OC Mohammad Mohsin said that Bithi had confessed to the murder and said that Madhav Bithi’s husband was Pintu’s cousin. He used to eat at his house for money. Meanwhile, Bithi-Madhav engaged in alienation, leading to physical intercourse. At one point, Madhav stopped going to Bithi’s house due to a financial dispute. So Madhav pressured Bithi to meet him outside. Otherwise, he threatened to spread pornographic videos of Bithi. Although she met Bithi, Madhav gave the videos to her husband Pintu from a fake ID on Facebook. Enraged, Bithi planned to kill Madhav. Meanwhile, on December 2, Madhav arrived at Bithi’s home. Then Bithi tied his hands and feet, suffocated him, and hid him under the bed. Later, Pintu found a strong stench in the room and reported it to the police. The police went and recovered the body.
