Anil Vij volunteered for Kovacin’s third trial 15 days ago, but has now tested positive for Kovid-19; According to the Indian media.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said that he had contracted coronavirus in his own body.
“I tested positive for coronavirus. I was admitted to the Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital. I recommend the Corona test to all who were in contact with me,” he tweeted.
Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Bharat Biotech said in a statement that covacin would start working after taking two doses, the vaccine was designed that way. The efficacy of the vaccine can be determined 14 days after the second dose.
In its explanation, the Indian Ministry of Health said that after taking the second dose of the vaccine, the body starts to produce anti-infective antibodies, but Anil only took the first dose of covacin.
Clinical trials of this possible biotech vaccine have started in different parts of India. Approximately 1,000 people participated in the first two-stage test. After the success of that test, the third stage test begins.
On November 20, 6-year-old Anil participated in a clinical trial of covacin. As a volunteer, take part in the trial.
