Protest demonstrations and mass demonstrations by Islamic parties in the capital have been postponed. At a press conference in the capital on Thursday, the organization’s leaders said a written request had been made to the DMP asking for permission to hold protest rallies and mass demonstrations in the capital after Friday prayers in protest of the installation of the statue on behalf of the sculpture. But permission was not obtained. In addition, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has issued a new order that prohibits meetings of political, social and religious organizations in the capital without the permission of the police. We believe in peace, order and the constitutional movement. Therefore, out of respect for the law, the protest program was postponed. The program will be observed later InshaAllah.

The press conference was chaired by Maulana Abu Taher Jihadi and was attended by, among others, the Secretary General of the United Islamic Parties and Naib Amir Allama Zafarullah Khan of Hefazat-e-Islami, Vice President Dr. Maulana Khalilur Rahman Al Madani, Maulana Ahmad Ali Qasemi, President of Bangladesh Janseba Andolan Mufti Fakhrul Islam, President of the Islami Janata Party Maulana Azizur Rahman Aziz, Mufti Faizullah Ashrafi, Maulana Mohammad Hossain Akand and Maulana Yamin Hossain Azmi.

At the press conference it is said that a believer cannot accept the way in which idols are erected in the name of sculptures on the corners of the capital and in different parts of the country. Some insidious mahals, including some so-called intellectuals, are trying to create chaos in the country by installing sculptures. Basically, they are the enemies of the country, the nation, Islam and the independence and sovereignty of the country. In this way, the wrath of God is being drawn into the country by placing idols in the name of sculpture. Conscious people in this country, which is 95% Muslim, cannot accept this foreign culture at all.
