In the second phase, the Electoral Commission (EC) has announced the schedule for the election of 61 municipalities in the country. The election will be held on January 18. Elections will take place in Sariakandi, Gangni in Meherpur, Shailkupa in Jhenaidah, Pirojpur, Khagrachhari and Lama in Bandarban Hill district.
