The court fined 30 people between Rs 200-500 for not wearing masks during the raid. The RAB executive magistrate said: “Some people are leaving the house without masks under various pretexts. Once again, you will find a class of people who wear masks but keep them hanging by their chin. Some people are being fined. However, your fines are more than doubled than normal fines.
Justice Palash Kumar Basu said: “Our main objective here is not to impose fines. We want to raise awareness in the general public. Do not let this terrible virus spread to anyone else. May they be safe too.
30 people from different social backgrounds have been fined in this operation. They are making various excuses in front of the court.

The government has ordered the field administration to conduct mobile courts to ensure that everyone wears a mask outside their homes during the coronavirus epidemic.
