Although the price of gold has dropped, the default price of silver has remained the same. Depending on the category, the price of 22 karat silver has been set at Rs 1,516. The price of 21 karat silver has been set at Rs 1,435, 18 karat silver at Rs 1,225 and traditional method silver at Rs 933.
As of today, December 1, good quality, that is, genuine 22 karat gold, has been sold in the country market for Rs 63,733. 21 karat gold sold for Tk 80,084, 18 karat gold for Tk 61,936 and traditional gold for Tk 51,613.
Meanwhile, despite the reduction in the price of gold on the domestic market, the price has risen today on the world market. At the time of writing, the price of gold per ounce has risen £ 35.7 or 2.2 percent to £ 1,612.90.
