Dhaka: Globe Biotech Pharmaceuticals has canceled its contract with ICDDR, Bir for the human trial of the corona vaccine.

On Wednesday (December 1) afternoon, Globe Biotech Limited’s Quality and Regulatory Operations Manager. Mohammad Mohiuddin told reporters this information.

He said that on Monday (November 30), ICDDR, BK had informed him not to work with them.

In addition to ICDDR, Globe will sign a new human testing agreement with CRO Bangladesh instead of BIR.

Mohammad Mohiuddin said that Globe signed an agreement with ICDDR, Bir on October 14. The terms of the agreement were that they would begin a clinical trial within 30 days. But ICDDR, BA hasn’t started work on the issue even after about a month and a half after the agreement was signed.

He said they have made no progress so far. But in these three months there have been about nine meetings. We understand that since they are managed in collaboration with foreign companies, they will first look out for the interests of those who manage the fund.
