Jannatul Hasin (24) lived at his sister’s house in Dhaka. After graduating from Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), he was currently doing an internship at Mercantile Bank in Mirpur, Dhaka. On Monday night he went home in Comilla without informing anyone. Then he went quietly to his room and fell asleep. He was home from morning to noon. Suddenly, at noon-thirty, she told the household members that she was going to buy shampoo at the store. But after a while, it was discovered that Hasin committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of a nearby building under construction.
The incident took place around 1.30 pm Tuesday near the neighborhood councilor’s office behind the city corporation office in Jhautla, Comilla. Hasin is the daughter of Idris Mehdi from the area.
It is known that Father Idris Mehedi lives with his family in the city’s Jhautola. He has three daughters and a son. The deceased was identified as Jannatul Hasin Mejo. He runs a clothing business in Dhaka.
Idris Mehedi said Jannatul Hasin graduated from Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) at the home of his eldest daughter, Jannatul Hassan. Hasin used to live in that house with her eldest daughter and her husband. However, the eldest daughter and her husband are employed. Hasin was working as an intern at a Mercantile Bank branch in Mirpur-6.
What is the idea why he committed suicide? When asked, Father Idris said, Comilla is coming from Dhaka at night. I didn’t speak to anyone, I didn’t even eat. Did you have a relationship with a guy? He does not know it. He couldn’t tell if there was any conflict with someone else.
Neighborhood Councilor Manzoor Quader Moni said: “We are working inside the office.” Suddenly there was a loud noise around noon. I went outside and saw a girl lying on the ground. Some people ran and tried to water his head. Meanwhile, the girl died leaving her arms and legs.
Comilla Kotwali Model Police Station OC Anwarul Haque said the girl died after jumping from the roof of a multi-story building under construction. As such, we will initially say that he has committed suicide. An autopsy will be performed and the cause of death will be known.
