Syria and Hamas have strongly condemned the killing of an Iranian nuclear scientist

Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement in Syria and Palestine, has strongly condemned the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent Iranian nuclear scientist and deputy defense minister.

Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad and Hamas Politburo Chief Ismail Haniya phoned Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday night to express their condemnation.

In separate telephone conversations, Mikdad and Haniya conveyed their condolences to the Iranian government and people on behalf of the Syrian and Palestinian peoples for the martyrdom of the Iranian nuclear scientist.

Prominent Iranian nuclear scientist and chairman of the Defense Ministry’s research and innovation agency, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was killed in a terrorist attack on Friday night. Armed terrorists attacked Fakhrizadeh’s car on a road in the town of Absard in Damavand county, near Tehran.

There is a storm of condemnation in the international arena against the assassination of this top Iranian nuclear scientist. The foreign ministers of Venezuela and South Africa also condemned the murder of Fakhrizadeh. Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyanski, has said that the terrorist attack was carried out across the border with a green signal from the United States.
