A woman was infected with the coronavirus in Singapore last March. So I was pregnant. The woman recently gave birth. Doctors have examined and discovered that the newborn came into the world with corona antibodies. This incident has again confused scientists. They have to rethink whether coronary heart disease is passed from mother to child during pregnancy.
Previously, the World Health Organization (WHO) said it was not yet sure whether the virus could have been transmitted to a fetus or child by a corona-infected woman during pregnancy or delivery. So far, no active virus has been found in the fluid (amniotic fluid) that surrounds the baby in the mother’s womb or in samples of breast milk.
Last October an entry was published in the American journal of children’s health sciences JAMA Pediatrics. Doctors at several US institutions said that it was very rare for coronary heart disease to spread from an infected mother to a newborn.
