The police arrested a university student named Alamin in connection with the murder of a fertilizer merchant named Arun Sharma and took three lakhs of rupees from him at Naldanga in Natore. He was arrested in a bedroom in Rajshahi on Friday night. At that time two lakh 13 lakhs were recovered. The arrested college student is the son of Saker Ali from Sonapatil village and Arnas is a freshman from Rajshahi City College.

Naldanga Police Officer in Charge (CO) Nazrul Islam said Alamin, a university student, was arrested in a dormitory in Rajshahi on Friday night after verifying various information. At that time two lakh 13 lakhs and an empty bag of money were recovered. Alamin admitted that the late fertilizer trader Arun Sharma had Rs 240,000. Al-Amin admits that he snatched money lost from gambling on his mobile phone and money that he borrowed from his lover to cope with pressure to pay it back. The college student said he did this incident alone.

It is worth mentioning that Arun Sharma, a fertilizer merchant from Naldanga Bazar, was run over by criminals on November 21 at 8 pm while on his way home from Naldanga Bazar and was taken away by criminals. He later died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 12pm.
