Dr. as a strategy for his mother’s kidney transplant. Mamun called the patient from home and told him about the operation. As part of the same strategy, a doctor known to the patient was removed from the service in that unit and sent elsewhere. On the other hand, even after the kidney was cut, as a self-defense strategy, the Dr. voluntarily staged the bonding drama. Habibur Rahman Dulal. In the name of the operation at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), two kidneys from a patient were cut and transplanted into the body of the mother of a doctor at that hospital. Although the incident is old, it resurfaced in Saturday’s discussion.

Habibur Rahman Dulal, professor of urology at BSMMU, has become the main defendant in the case. The other three defendants are Assistant Professor Faruk Hossain, Doctor Mostafa Kamal and Al Mamun from the same department. The plaintiff and the patient’s son, filmmaker Rafiq Sikder, claimed that Professor Dr. was involved in the operation. Dulal and the other defendant deliberately cut off his mother’s healthy kidney. As a result, his mother died on October 31, 2016. Two years after her death, Rafiq Sikder presented the case after receiving the autopsy report.

Meanwhile, after the case, the police have launched an operation to arrest the four doctors. However, they could not be arrested until Saturday night.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Ramna Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Sajjadur, said that an investigation was underway after the case. The arrest of the accused is in process.

Shahbagh Police Station OC Mamun-ur-Rashid said an autopsy was performed on Raushan Ara at the morgue of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. In the case filed in this case, the plaintiff has filed charges of premeditated murder, destruction of evidence and cooperation against the accused. According to the case brief, the investigation is ongoing and steps are being taken to arrest the accused.

According to a recent autopsy report, all of Raushan Ara’s limbs were damaged. The autopsy report also revealed that both kidneys had been removed.

In the statement of the case, Rafiq Sikder said: ‘On June 26, 2016, around 12:30 pm, my mother started having pain in her left kidney. That is why he was admitted to a private hospital in Dhaka. The next day, June 26, Dr. Yusuf Ali examined my mother Raushan Ara (55) and found that her right kidney was normal and her left kidney was affected. Dr. Yusuf sent his mother to BSMMU on July 1 of that year for advanced treatment. The same day Professor BSMMU. Under Habibur Rahman Dulal, I admitted my mother to room 313 of the cabin block. Later, my mother’s body was examined. The infected urine from the diseased left kidney is completely normalized by removal of the catheter. Subsequently, following the doctor’s instructions, the mother’s right kidney was normal in the July 15 exam. Then on August 27 at BSMMU I did several tests for the mother’s operation. On the same day, the biochemical report showed that my mother’s kidney function was normal. In addition to other tests, the condition of the mother’s kidney was good. On September 5 of that year, the defendant took my mother to the operating room to remove her damaged left kidney. The doctor on duty there that night told me that my mother’s right kidney was not working and that I had to take her to the ICU. He was transferred to a hospital in Maghbazar without being admitted to the BSMMU ICU. From there, she was sent to LabAid for testing, but neither of her mother’s two kidneys could be found. Later, doctors gave the same opinion when he was examined at another hospital. Then the doctors said that both of my mother’s kidneys had been removed.

Rafiq Sikder said that after the incident, he wanted to know about the incident with Professor Dulal. He did not give the correct answer. Then he began to protest. On October 1, 2016, Professor Dulal signed a written agreement with him. Under the agreement, her mother took responsibility for establishing a new kidney. You also made a written agreement to bear all costs; But instead of doing that, he kept wasting his time.

Meanwhile, Raushan Ara’s family has been complaining from the beginning that some doctors from BSMMU’s urology department cut off both of Raushan Ara’s kidneys and sold them. When Raushan was admitted, Mamun’s mother, a doctor at the same hospital, was admitted. He had two damaged kidneys. After treatment, Dr. Mamun’s mother is now completely healthy.

Rafiq said: “A well-known doctor from our village was on duty in that unit when my mother’s operating program was read. He was suddenly transferred to another unit before the operation. As a result, we suspect that the doctor was sent off duty elsewhere as part of a strategy to prevent someone from stealing the kidneys.

He accused Dr. Habibur Rahman was called to speak with Dulal, but could not be located. Another accused Dr. Mamun’s phone was called, but he did not receive it. At one point, he turned off the phone.

In this regard, the Vice Chancellor of BSMMU, Prof. Kanak Kanti Barua said: “We have received a complaint about the matter once before. Then a one-point investigation was also organized. But we knew nothing about the plaintiff’s mother’s autopsy report. Now the case has been shelved. We will also investigate again and take the necessary action.
