Jafrullah Chowdhury, founder and administrator of the public health center, said the current government is in a state of collapse. He said, now if you push a little harder, it will fall off the edge. The government has gone bankrupt. What bankruptcy looks like in the newspapers.
Jafrullah Chowdhury said this at a demonstration in front of the Shaheed Minar center in the capital on Saturday afternoon. On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the death of Maulana Bhasani, this joint meeting was organized by Rashtrachinta, Bhasani Anusari Parishad, the Council on the Rights of Workers and Young Students and Gana Sanghati Andolan.
Speaking at the rally, Jafrullah Chowdhury said: ‘Those with whom this government is running are looting billions of rupees. Government ministers say government bureaucrats are looting. The bureaucrats will loot. Those who looted the popular vote in the dark of night and installed this government, will loot.
Noting that a unitary government can never liberate the people, Jafrullah Chowdhury said that the government must be brought to the people. The Dhaka government must be overthrown and a multi-center government must be formed. A unitary government can never free the people. The fight for this must continue. The words of Maulana Bhasani, ‘We will not stop until the food reaches everyone’s mouth. We’ll stop with food in everyone’s mouth. ‘ This situation must come together to change.
Jonaid Saki, the main coordinator of the mass solidarity movement, said that the current government was putting the future of the people in danger. He said that this government is putting the future of the country and the people in danger. A political power shift is needed to avoid this. People are terrified of their small forces and cannot speak. They use the police administration as their own. This is because this government is afraid of the people.
Mentioning that the voterless government is leading the country into conflict, Nurul Haque, former Vice President (VP) of the Central Student Parliament (Daksu) of Dhaka University, said: “Although this government speaks of non-communal consciousness, they are spreading the poison of communalism. ” The government is doing a divisive policy in the country to stay in power. It is pushing the country into a communal crisis. It is being labeled as Jamaat-Shibir. Nurul Haque said, the people do not have confidence in this government. Maulana Bhasani said, “I have broken the chain of Pindi, not to enslave Delhi.” But this government has survived by enslaving Delhi.
Hasnat Qayyum, a member of Rashtrachinta, said that Bangladesh is going through a terrible crisis. Maulana Bhasani is very necessary at this time. Bhasani went beyond any division and went into politics, solving political problems. Bangladesh looks forward to that solution.
Rashidul Islam, general secretary of Bhasani Anusari Parishad, read the manifesto at the rally. Didarul Islam Bhuiyan, member of Rashtrachinta, Taslima Akhter, president of Bangladesh Garment Workers ‘Solidarity, Rashed Khan, coordinator of the Student Rights Council, Abdur Rahman, coordinator of the Council for Workers’ Rights and others also spoke.
