BCB mourns the death of Ali Jaker

DHAKA: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed its deep sorrow at the death of Ali Jaker, an Ekushey medal-winning cultural personality and vocalist of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra.

Natyajan Ali Jaker passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Friday (November 26).

The BCB sent a message of condolence on Friday. The BCB has expressed its deepest condolences for the grieving relatives.

In a message of condolence, the BCB said that Ali Jaker was deeply involved with cricket in Bangladesh. He played cricket for the club in the 1960s. He also worked as a radio and television commentator in the 1960s and 70s. The BCB extends its deepest condolences to grieving family members for the forgiveness of their deceased souls.

Ali Jaker has been battling cancer for almost four years. He was admitted to the hospital on November 15 after his condition recently worsened. There he was treated at the UCC.
