The ICT Minister of State said that all government activities are now on a digital platform. He said that government activities had not been stopped in the past eight months after the corona infection. One million electronic files have been officially released. He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister and his ICT Adviser, Sajeeb Wazed.
It was reported at the press conference that the fourth Digital Bangladesh Day will be celebrated on December 12. This time the theme is ‘Even though I consider the distance, I’m still connected’. Meetings-seminars, talk shows, contests, drawings, essays, speeches, dramas and other events will be organized to mark 12 years of Digital Bangladesh. Additionally, an international seminar will be held on December 12 at 8pm under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The prime minister’s ICT adviser, Sajib Wazed, will be the keynote speaker. President Abdul Hamid will open the digital day award ceremony and main event via video message.
The Director General of the ICT Department, ABM Arshad Hossain, and the Director (Finance and Administration) of the ICT Department, Mohammad Abul Hashem and Zakaria Swapan of Priyadotcom also spoke at the press conference.
