Doraiswamy's respect for Ali Zaker

Dhaka: The Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka, Vikram Doraiswamy, has expressed deep respect for the memory of prominent cultural figure Ali Jaker at his death.

He paid his respects in a Twitter message on Friday (November 26).

The Indian High Commissioner wrote on Twitter that Ali Jaker was a great actor, freedom fighter, Ekushey Padak winner, patriot and one of the favorite stars of the Bangladeshi acting industry. My respect for him.

Addressing Ali Zaker, Vikram Doraiswamy further said: “Your work will be conveyed as a message for a free, inclusive, progressive and prosperous Bangladesh.

Natyajan Ali Jaker died at the United Hospital in the capital at 6.40 am on Friday (November 28).

At the age of 7, Ali Jaker is survived by his wife, playwright Sara Jaker, his son, actor Iresh Jaker, his daughter, radio host Shriya Sarvajaya, and many other fans.
