The Rajshahi group of ministers have won the Bangabandhu T20 Cup for the second time in a row. Nazmul Hossain Shantar defeated Jamcon Khulna by 6 wickets.

On the other hand, Mahmudullah Khulna from Riyadh had the taste of the first defeat. In this match too, the best all-rounder in the world, Shakib Al Hasan, was missing the bat and the ball.

Khulna batted first at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday (November 26) and scored 146 of eight. In response, Nazmul Hossain came down to bat and scored an easy victory with 16 balls in hand.

Rajshahi hit the target for 147 runs. Starter Anisul Islam Emon was fired for 2 runs. At the second wicket, Captain Shant and Roni Talukder added 46 runs to keep the team on track to victory. Ronnie scored 27 runs and was fired for 72 runs.

Shant collected half a century from 32 balls. He then made 55 runs of 34 balls and fell into the LBW trap. Fazle Mahmud scored 24 runs and returned to the locker room with 120 runs. Then Mohammad Ashraful and Nurul Hasan Sohan won the match and left the field. Rajshahi scored 146 runs for 4 wickets with 16.2 balls. Ashraful was undefeated on the 25th and Sohan on the 11th.

Previously, Khulna’s batsmen were unable to take advantage of Rajshahi’s controlled bowling after winning the toss. Imrul Kayes (0), Shakib Al Hasan (12), Enamul Haque Vijay (26), Zahrul Islam (1) and Captain Mahmudullah Riyad (6) all went to Khulna after losing 5 wickets during 51 races.

Ariful Haque and Shamim Hossain added 49 runs for the sixth wicket. Shamim ran out of 35. After that, Ariful scored 41 runs from 31 balls and in the end Jamcon Khulna scored 146 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Ariful and Shahidul Islam were unbeaten in 47 races.

Rajshahi’s Mukidul Islam took 2 wickets. Additionally, Ebadat Hossain, Mehdi Hasan, and Arafat Sunny each took a wicket.
