In the last 24 hours, 36 people have died from coronavirus in the country. So far 6,524 people have died.
At the same time, 18,052 samples were analyzed and a further 2,292 corona-infected people were identified. Considering the test, the detection rate is 13.44 percent. With this, the number of identified patients increased to four lakh 56,438 people.

Of the 36 people killed in the last 24 hours, 25 were men and 12 were women. In the analysis based on age, one of them is between 11 and 20 years old, one between 31 and 40 years old, two between 41 and 50 years old, eight between 51 and 60 years old, and 25 are under 60 years old. Two thousand 264 more people were cured in 24 hours. So far, three lakh 61,453 people have recovered. In total, 26 lakh 13,202 samples have been tested so far.
The notification also said that, considering the total number of tests in the country, the detection rate is 16.72 percent. The overall recovery rate is 61.36 percent and the mortality rate is 1.43 percent.
According to the government’s Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), the first case of coronavirus was identified in the country on March 8. On March 17, the first death was reported.
