Countries that have not yet recognized Israel

Although some countries of the world have recognized Israel as a state, some countries have not yet recognized it or have refrained from establishing formal diplomatic relations with the country. Among those countries, just as there are Islamic countries, there are also many non-Islamic countries. These countries are:

Afghanistan
Afghanistan, a South Asian country, has yet to recognize Israel.

Algeria
Although Israel recognized Algerian independence, Algeria has not yet done so. Even when North African countries have improved their relations with Israel, Algeria has not.

Bangladesh
Bangladesh, a country in South Asia, has yet to recognize Israel. As a result, no one can enter Bangladesh with an Israeli passport. Similarly, you cannot enter Israel with a Bangladeshi passport.

Bhutan
Bhutan does not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Brunei
Brunei did not recognize Israel as a state.

Comoros
Israel does not have formal diplomatic relations with the Comoros. However, there are examples of joint trade relations between the two countries.

Djibouti
Israel has no formal diplomatic or commercial relations with Djibouti. Attempts have been made in the past to improve relations between the two countries, but without success.

Indonesia
Although Israel has not been formally recognized, there are informal contacts between the two countries. Israelis can even go to Bali on a Singapore visa if they wish. And Indonesians can go to Israel as pilgrims.

Iraq
Attempts were made to improve the country’s relations with Israel after the 2003 Iraq war. But that has not yet been possible.

Kuwait
Kuwait’s relations with Israel have never been friendly. No one can enter the country with an Israeli passport or travel document.

Lebanon
The long-running dispute between Lebanon and Israel continues. Surveys carried out by various organizations have shown that a large part of the population of both countries has a negative perception of their neighbors.

Libya
Israel has nothing to do with the African country of Libya.

Malaysia
Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Malaysia. You can’t even enter Israel with the country’s passport. However, there are commercial relations between the two countries.

Morocco
Although Israel does not recognize Morocco as a state, there are secret relations between the two countries.

North Korea
North Korea refuses to recognize Israel as a state. Relations between the two countries are quite hostile.

Oman
Oman has not officially recognized Israel as a state. However, the two countries have had trade relations since 1998.

Pakistan
Despite various pressures, Pakistan has refrained from recognizing Israel. No one with a passport from the country can enter Pakistan.

Qatar
Qatar does not have diplomatic relations with Israel. However, there was once a commercial relationship between the two countries.

Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has yet to formally recognize Israel as a state. However, experts believe that this situation may change soon.

Somalia
Somalia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Syria
Israel’s relations with neighboring Syria are weak. The two countries have long disagreed over the Golan Heights area.

Yemen
Israel has no relations with Yemen. You cannot enter Yemen with an Israeli passport or a passport with an Israeli stamp.
