Islamabad has filed a complaint with the United Nations in which it blames India for inciting terrorism within Pakistan. Pakistan has submitted several documents to the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, as evidence of India’s alleged involvement in various counterterrorism activities in the name of counterterrorism and incitement to terrorism within Pakistan. Islamabad is angry that New Delhi is carrying out illegal activities in the border area.

Pakistan on Tuesday formally accused India of sponsoring terrorism ahead of its two-year tenure as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. From January 1, India will serve as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and filed a charge sheet against India alleging terrorism sponsorship.

At the same time, Munir Akram said that the world community should take into consideration the issue of Indian terrorism and destructive activities within Pakistan. At the same time, steps must be taken to prevent illegal and aggressive activities in India. He also accused India of violating international law, the UN Charter and various resolutions passed by the Security Council.

Meanwhile, accepting the charge sheet, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that all allegations and evidence presented by Pakistan regarding India’s involvement in terrorism sponsorship would be examined.

Earlier in a briefing, Pakistan Mission Ambassador Munir Akram explained how New Delhi was fueling regional instability through its sponsorship of terrorism. “The gap between Pakistan and India has intensified since the nuclear test,” he said. At present, relations between the two countries have reached a low point. This is because New Delhi has further expanded its terrorist activities against Pakistan. We have enough evidence in this regard.

The Pakistani ambassador informed Guterres about how New Delhi was violating international law. He requested the cooperation of the UN Secretary General in this regard.

Islamabad has recently accused India of supporting terrorist attacks to destabilize Pakistan and damage China’s economic ties with the country. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said at the time that New Delhi had ample evidence that it was helping terrorists carry out attacks inside Pakistan. And now Pakistan has sent a strong message to India in the international arena by raising this accusation to the UN Secretary General.
