BTRC nominated Synesis IT through a competitive tender to launch and operate the NEIR system. A tender was called for the launch and operation of the NEIR system last February. On November 5, BTRC issued a notification award to win the Synesis IT tender.
BTRC took the first initiative in 2012 to stop illegal mobile phones and register legal mobile phones. However, it could not be implemented for various reasons. This year, the plan is being put into practice through the call for tenders and the selection of a company. Synesis IT must launch the entire system within 120 business days after signing the contract.
According to Synesis IT, they are fully prepared in this case. They have already completed the preparations following all the instructions given by BTRC. In this case, it will take 18 weeks to import hardware and 12 weeks to set up the data center.
