The ICC has published on its website a list of the best male and female cricketers over the past decade.
Kohli is the best cricketer of the decade, the best Test cricketer of the decade, ODI and T20. It has also been nominated for the Best Spirit of Cricket of the Decade award.
The best will be selected from the list of nominees. Viewers will vote 10 percent. The remaining 90 percent of the votes will come from the panel of experts. Voting, which began Wednesday, will end on December 16. Visitors can register and vote by visiting the ICC website.
Spectators will cast their votes for the Spirit of Cricket award. Starting in 2011, they will select the best of the decade from the winners.
The list was compiled by the ICC Nominating Committee considering performance from January 1, 2011 to October 8 of this year.
No cricketer from Bangladesh earned a spot on the list.

The best test cricketer of the boys’ decade: Virat Kohli (India), Joe Root (England), Ken Williamson (New Zealand), Steven Smith (Australia), James Anderson (England), Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka) and Yasir Shah (Pakistan).
Best ODI Cricketer of the Boys’ Decade: Virat Kohli (India), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Mitchell Starc (Australia), AB de Villiers (South Africa), Rohit Sharma (India), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India), Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka).
Best ODI Cricketer of the Decade: Meg Lanning (Australia), Alice Perry (Australia), Suzy Bates (New Zealand), Stephanie Taylor (West Indies), Mitali Raj (India), Jhulan Goswami (India).
Children’s Cricket Player of the Decade T20: Rashid Khan (Afghanistan), Virat Kohli (India), Rohit Sharma (India), Imran Tahir (South Africa), Aaron Finch (Australia), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Chris Gayle (West Indies).
