Faridul Haque Khan to be sworn in as state religion minister tomorrow

Faridul Haque Khan Seat of Jamalpur-2 (Islampur) Member of Parliament. Faridul Haque Khan Dulal is included in the cabinet. If all goes well, he will take his oath in Bangabhaban on Tuesday (November 24) evening. He will be given the responsibility of minister of religion of the state. Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division, Sultan Ahmed, told the Bengali Tribune.

The additional secretary said, “Your oath will be held at 7pm.”

Separately, sources in Bangabhaban said preparations are underway for the swearing-in of one person as a member of the cabinet on Tuesday night.

In this regard, Islampur Upazila Nirbahi (UN) officer from Jamalpur SM Mazharul Islam said: ‘The MP from my constituency Faridul Haque Khan will be sworn in at 6pm on Tuesday. We hear the good news at 5pm. I also congratulated the man after receiving the news.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Religion has been without a minister since the death of the Minister of State for Religion, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, on June 13.

Faridul Haque Khan Dulal is an elected member of the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad from Jamalpur-2 (Islampur) constituency on the nomination of the Bangladesh Awami League. He is the president of the Islampur Upazila Awami League.

Faridul Haq Khan was born on January 2, 1958 in the village of Uttar Sirajabad in Islampur upazila of the then Jamalpur district in East Pakistan. His father’s name is Md. Habibur Rahman Khan and his mother’s name is Mosammat Fatema Khanam. It is known that he studied until high school. He was a member of the Permanent Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of the Interior in the X National Assembly.
