Own report: Comedian Bharti Singh and her husband arrested in drug case The court placed Harsh Limbachia in judicial custody for 14 days. The Mumbai Magistrates Court sent them into pretrial detention on Sunday until December 4.
Comedian Bharti Singh was arrested Saturday night after being questioned in a drug case. Her husband, screenwriter Harsh Limbachia, was also arrested after a 15-hour questioning. They were presented in court on Sunday according to the rules.

Incidentally, on Saturday, NCB officials searched the homes and offices of Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachia and recovered the prohibited drugs. 7.5 grams of cannabis were reportedly recovered from his home. After that, NCB officials took Bharati and Harsh from the house. Director Sameer Wankhede said that Bharati and Harsh only use drugs, but are not involved in trafficking. Meanwhile, Bharati and Harsh have already requested bail.

Both Bharati and Harsh are known to have confessed to using cannabis during interrogation. Then they were arrested. Earlier, PTI sources said that the names of Bharti Singh and her husband were revealed during questioning of a drug dealer.
