Bharati was born in Amritsar on July 3, 1984. His father was originally from Nepal. The mother was of Punjabi descent. Bharati’s father died when she was only two years old. He only remembers the memories of his childhood when he was attacked by creditors at home. They claimed that Bharati’s late father had borrowed money from everyone.
With two daughters and a son, Bharati’s mother lost her husband when she was only 22 years old. He was unable to pay the creditors. As a result, an inaudible blasphemy was heard. In an interview, Bharati claimed that she was an “unwanted child” in his family. When Bharati was in the womb, her mother tried to prevent the birth of a child. But he couldn’t until the end.
Bharati is still haunted by a mechanical “tick-tick” sound from desperate childhood. That word was a sewing machine. His mother used to make blankets until late at night to feed the three children. He spent the whole morning at the blanket factory. He used to bring work home for extra pay.
Another sad place for Bharati with lack was his appearance. He was a regular victim of jokes between friends at school. He used to cry when he heard harsh comments about his appearance. However, despite being fat, he was unrivaled in sports such as archery and rifle shooting. He has also represented the school in these two games at the state and national level.
Bharati was admitted to the university on the sports fee. Growing up, I wanted to be a gamer. But the path of life changed in college. Kapil Sharma was also a student at his university. I used to lead theater groups with some friends. He used to train students to mimic.
Once in a play, Kapil and his friends cast Bharati as Yamraj. But Bharati had no interest in acting. Did not agree. I heard later that every time you go to a rehearsal, you will receive a 10 rupee coupon. After that, he didn’t back down.
Happy with Bharati’s performance in the play, Kapil offered to join his theater team. Two shows a week. The show fee was 250 rupees. Bharati agreed with the remuneration in mind.
Little by little, the life of Bharati became a theater. After that, according to Kapil Sharma, he went to an audition to participate in ‘Laughter Challenge’. The audition was held at a hotel in Amritsar. Bharati was not alone. He was afraid to go to the hotel alone. So he took some friends with him.
Two weeks after the audition, Bharati received a call. With plane ticket to El Mumbai. Bharati sat on the plane seat with his first mother. Before that, they used to think about the fare to get on the bus.
Bharati took third place on ‘Laughter Show’. A large television came to his house as a reward. In a family where it was difficult to get two meals a day, neighbors were surprised to see a large television in their home.
But the TV just didn’t have the ability to connect. So even on new television, Indians used to watch Doordarshan. However, there was a shortage. Two weeks later, I received another call from Mumbai.
This time Bharati did a stand up show as jewelry. He received a salary of 15 lakh rupees. This amount of money was unimaginable at the time. Bharati was the first to pay the creditors remuneration. With its success, the environment began to change.
Bharati later participated in ‘Comedy Circus’. His partners there were Sharad Kelkar and Suresh. Little by little he came to the forefront as an actor and comedian on television.
The opportunity also gets to act in the movie. He has acted in various films in Hindi, Punjabi and Kannada, including ‘Khiladi 7’ and ‘Sanam Re’. But his bird’s eye view was television. Also, he didn’t want to be part of any particular camp. Maintains good relations with everyone.
In the midst of fame, Bharati met emerging screenwriter Harsh Limbachia. He used to write scripts for Bharati in the comic circus. At first, the script was unsuccessful, but then it became a huge success in Bharati’s acting. From the conversation, the love between the two gradually deepens.
The love story between the two lasted 6 years in a row. Along with Bharati, Harsh also continued his professional career. From an assistant scriptwriter to an assistant creative director. Harsh-Bharati got married in 2016.
In the city where Bharati stepped foot on a production house ticket, he built a luxurious house in Mumbai. His car is the noble car. Besides fulfilling her dream, Bharati’s goal now is to be by her mother’s side. He cannot forget his mother’s grief for his three brothers.
But suddenly the melody of the dream was cut off. Comedian Bharti Singh was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday after lengthy questioning. The NCB claimed that a search of Bharati’s apartment in Mumbai on Saturday morning turned up 7.5 grams of cannabis. Soon after, Bharati and her husband were taken to the OCN office for questioning.
Bharati’s husband, Harsh Limbachia, was arrested Sunday morning after 15 hours of questioning. During questioning, Bharati and her husband Harsh confessed to using cannabis, NCB investigators claimed.
