President of the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK). Saeed Nur Alam told reporters on Sunday.

After a meeting with the local government minister in the secretariat, Nur Alam told reporters: “These must be resolved. A decision must be made after verification and selection. “

RAB-3 raided Monir’s home in Merul Badda in Dhaka from midnight Friday to Saturday morning.

The six-story house was found to have 1 crore 9 lakh rupees in cash, 10 lakh rupees in foreign currency from 10 countries, four liters of liquor, 8 kg of gold, a foreign pistol and a few rounds of ammunition.

The man, known as ‘Golden Monir’, is known as a gold merchant, but the Bangladesh Jewelers Association said he was not a gold merchant.

And RAB said, not business, but gold smuggling was Monir’s business; Later he got involved in the land business.

The problem of Monir, who has become a ‘mafia’ from the land of a towel vendor, is also coming to light after that campaign.

Documents from more than 200 parcels in Badda, Niketan, Keraniganj, Uttara and Nikunj were found in Monir’s house.

In total, it has information that it has assets worth more than Tk 1,050 crore, RAB officials said.

There is a case against Monir on charges of land grabbing by forging the RAJUK seal and an ACC case.

Calling attention to the matter, the president of RAJUK said: “We will investigate this. Departmental actions will be taken against all those who will be identified in the investigation and the case in court will continue ”.

When asked if RAJUK had any cooperation in owning Monir’s 200 parcels, Saeed Nur Alam said: “I don’t think it is a one-day process, it is a long-term process. We have been able to unveil in so many days.”

The RAJUK president said the issue of Monir’s corruption was first brought up last year when action was taken against him.

“This fix will continue until the last problem is discovered.”

When asked if Moinir’s plots would be canceled, the president said: “If there is any kind of yay (irregularity-corruption) in the process, we will definitely cancel it.”

Saeed Noor Alam said that Raoz will carry out a clean-up operation to avoid irregularities. “We will carry out more cleaning operations again. We have that plan. There will be no irregularities in the future. “
