If Saudi Arabia fulfills a precondition, Riyadh will fully support the process of normalization of relations with Israel, said the country’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud.

In an interview on the sidelines of the G20 Virtual Conference on Saturday, Faisal said his country would fully support the establishment of relations with Israel if a dignified state was established for the Palestinians by signing a permanent and comprehensive peace agreement.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan recently signed an agreement to normalize Israeli relations. Furthermore, there are indications that some more Arab states may follow the same path.

However, Riyadh has already backed the deal. Saudi Arabia has also opened its airspace to Israeli flights with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The Palestinians have always condemned the normalization of Arab relations with Israel. There has been a mixed reaction around the world.
