Monaco won the League One match 3-2 at home on Friday night. Kevin Faland scored a couple of goals, the other from Cesc Fabregas.

PSG had the bitter taste of third place in the League in the second leg for Neymar and Mbabane after recovering from injury.

The visitors went ahead in the 25th minute of each successful attack in the match that was frozen from the start. From midfield, Anhel Di Maria grabbed the ball and went forward. Avoiding Axel Disassi, who was on guard, he entered area D and found the net with a far post with a bullet shot with his right leg.

Four minutes later, PSG had a chance to double the lead with another attack. The two defenders of Monaco were the opposite of the two forwards of the French champion. Mobape moved on the left side, Moiz Kin waited on the right side. Mbabane failed to pass properly, his weak shot was blocked by Disasi.

In the 31st minute, Levine Kurzawa’s ‘gift’ could not be used by Willem Gibbles. The PSG defender wanted to give goalkeeper Kyler Navas a header to secure a cross from Monaco. His weak head dipped amid the unprotected gibbells. His head didn’t point for a moment.

Mbabane doubled the lead with a successful 36-minute penalty shot. PSG received a penalty for Joseph Fofana’s foul on Brazilian midfielder Rafinha.

After three minutes, send the ball into the net. However, as he was offside at the start of the attack, the goal was disallowed at VAR. Mbabane’s goal was similarly disallowed in the 42nd minute. He was offside when Abdu Diallo extended the ball.

Monaco grabbed PSG early in the second half. The alternates are Fabregas and Cayo Henrique. The attack leads to host attacks.

Opportunity after opportunity is created. Fland’s shot in the 49th minute missed its mark for a while. Navas blocked his shot in the next minute in exchange for a corner.

PSG could not stop Faland for a long time. The German striker found the net in the 52nd minute after receiving the ball from Gelson Martínez. Navas didn’t have much to do.

Neymar replaced Di María in the 70th minute. PSG, which had been involved in defense for so long, focused on attacking the Brazilian forward. Monaco played with the same humor. The team also drew in the 65th minute.

Navas left the line to prevent Fabregas from taking a great center. But he missed the ball. After receiving the ball from the Spanish midfielder, Fland effortlessly sent the ball into the empty net.

Destroying opportunity after opportunity, Monaco took the lead in the 74th minute with a successful Fabregas penalty shot. The hosts were sanctioned with a penalty for missing Dilando. Look at the VAR, the referee shows the PSG defender a red card.

PSG is on top with 24 points from 11 games. Monaco has risen to number two with 20 points in the third consecutive victory.
