The police had brought a case to the Uttara East Police Station on 12 November on the day of the by-elections in the Dhaka-17 constituency for shelling in front of the Maleka Banu Adarsh ​​Vidyaniketan School Center in Uttara.

Mamun and Sumon were arrested in the Uttara area on Friday afternoon as part of the investigation of the case.

Additional Commissioner Hafeez told bdnews24.com: “According to the information provided by them, the police went to the house under construction in the Kamar Para area in the afternoon. There are 31 fresh cocktails available.”

On that news, the police bomb disposal team went there at night. Bombs were detonated in a controlled manner.

Hafiz Akhter said: “The two arrested persons said in preliminary questioning that they had prepared cocktails while sitting in the building under construction. Then, on election day, it exploded in front of the center.

The police officer said that action was being taken against the two detainees according to the law.
