A tourist named Babu Sheikh died after falling from the sixth floor of a hotel in Cox’s Bazar. He is the son of a man named Khanchur from District 14 of Tangail Township. The incident took place at the Kalatali Sea Classic Resort on the Cox’s Bazar boardwalk on Wednesday night.

Abdullah Al Asif, a neighbor of the deceased, said 52 people from Tangail traveled to Cox’s Bazar and stayed at the city’s Sea Classic Resort Hotel. Everybody stays like this in the hotel. Babu Sheikh was at 702 from the hotel. Suddenly the news came that Babu Sheikh fell from the sixth floor. They all rescued him and rushed him to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. The doctor in charge of the emergency department declared him dead.

Hospital Sadar district doctor in charge. Ashikur Rahman said he died before reaching the hospital. Signs of injuries were found on his body. However, no major signs were found.

Model Police Operations Officer Cox’s Bazar Sadar. Selim said police visited the scene after receiving the news. The cause of death is not yet known. The body has been kept in the morgue of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
