On April 10, 2016, the 39th BCS Special for Physicians was announced. The rest were on the waiting list. From that list, on February 12 of this year, it was recommended to appoint those 535 doctors as medical officers in the Department of Family Planning Welfare. In addition, it was recommended to appoint 29 more people in other departments. The government canceled the hiring of 574 recommended PSCs who were not part of the cadre following the decision to hire 2,000 new doctors.
