Bangladesh cricket superstar Shakib Al Hasan is not leaving the controversy behind. Attending a worship service in India after an unfortunate incident in which a fan tried to take a selfie at the Benapole border and later posted an apology after receiving death threats about it, all of which are now in the center of intense debate and discussion.

Many thank Shakib for apologizing through social media. But Shakib made a mistake in apologizing, but the number of people who believe it is not less.

RAB arrested Mohsin Talukder on Tuesday for posting a video threatening to kill him.

However, before that, social media has become very popular, but this time they started one controversy after another about Shakib Al Hasan, mainly after he returned from the United States.

The way the debate started

Shakib Al Hasan has just completed his one-year suspension from cricket. The SUV generated controversy when it returned to Dhaka on November 8 to open a store in Dhaka.

Apparently, he did not consider hygiene problems during the opening of the supershop, nor during the quarantine in the country, and there was a large crowd at the event.

Then on Thursday, while going to India across the Benapole border, a new discussion arose about unwanted behavior from a fan while trying to take a selfie.

However, Shakib said the fan had tried to take photos of him without his permission and he almost got on his body and when he tried to pull it out his phone fell from his hands

Meanwhile, some media outlets began publishing news and images of Shakib attending a puja ceremony in India and expressing his anger and frustration via social media since Saturday.

Meanwhile, a man named Mohsin Talukder from Sylhet threatened Shakib with obscene language and death in a live video from his Facebook ID on Sunday night.

He also advised Shakib to follow the Pakistani cricketers in the video.

Returning live the next morning, he asked Shakib to apologize for going to India to inaugurate Kali Puja in India.

Social media, including Facebook, took care of all this.

In such a context, Shakib Al Hasan said in a video message on his YouTube channel that he did not or did not open the bidding.

In this message, he referred to himself as a proud Muslim and said: ‘There must be mistakes, we move in life with mistakes. I must apologize to you if I have done something wrong.

Although he made it clear that he did not go to open the bid.

Netizens are like two

An intense debate with his apology has also started. Because one side thinks it should have talked about communal harmony instead of apologizing in this way.

Through social media, some people say: ‘After the death threat, what else did Shakib have to do? Who wants to risk his life?

Media personality Abdun Noor Tushar wrote on his verified Facebook page: ‘Has a group of prominent Facebook users been too busy criticizing Shakib? Why did Shakib apologize? If he thinks he’s going to apologize, why don’t you tell him?

Rather, you ask yourself, what kind of society have you built where one of the best players in the world can be publicly threatened by lifting Ramadan in a live video on Facebook? Where is the image of the country now?

In this post, a person named Anand Zaman wrote: “The only question is whether Shakib took fans across the country a step further in this apology!”

On the BBC Bangla Facebook page, Md. Shamim wrote: “Nothing extra is good. Threatening to kill Shakib has become too much.

Ansar Ali Khan Joy writes: “An accused of murder or rape is not caught so quickly. As soon as they catch Anna. Shakib says the law is different. But didn’t he commit the crime in disobeying the law of the land? The law is only for weak and defenseless expats.

Nurul Abshar wrote: “The people of the country have forgiven Shakib for admitting his mistake. Forgive Shakib and the person who threatened to kill him and show great heart.”

Online activist Arif Jebtik, however, wrote in a post with a photo of Mohsin Talukder, accused of threatening Shakib Al Hasan by showing Ramadan: “This is Bangladesh, everything else is false.”

But Dhaka University professor Zobaida Nasreen says Shakib Al Hasan has done nothing that could lead to a religious controversy. Even then he had to apologize for the current reality in Bangladesh.

But the reality of Bangladesh has changed in recent years. Now there is no academic discussion about religion. Keep in mind that in recent years everything from mass beatings to assassinations has happened in the name of religious sentiment. That means that a culture of fear has been created ”.

He said that perhaps Shakib Al Hasan did not take any risks because of SE. So, for better or for worse, you may have tried to protect yourself by asking for forgiveness.
