A petition has been filed with the Superior Court to cancel the quota for the appointment of assistant teachers in public elementary schools.
Monday’s job seeker said. The Supreme Court lawyer, Eklach Uddin Bhuiyan, filed a judicial petition in the High Court on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
According to the order petition, after the Department of Elementary Education issued the recruitment notification on October 16, it was learned from the media that more than 35,000 assistant teachers in elementary schools would be hired under the Project of Educational Development-4 (PEDP). But on October 4, 2016, the quota system was canceled by the Ministry of Public Administrations.
Subsequently, the Department of Primary and Mass Education issued a circular on April 4, 2019, establishing a quota of 60 percent for women, 20 percent for pets and 20 percent for male candidates. In their own interest, they mentioned the matter in article VIII of the circular, which is contrary to the circular of the Ministry of Public Function dated July 4, 2016 on quota cancellation and articles 26, 29 and 31 of the Constitution .
In the petition, the Cabinet Secretary, the Superior Secretary of the Ministry of Education, the Superior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, the Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Director General of the Department of Primary Education have been accused. He also said that a hearing on the car will be held soon.
