Mufti Waqqas, leader of the 20-party alliance, has been appointed advisor to the new Hifazat committee at the Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Madrasa in Chittagong’s Hathazari. Maulana Anas Madani, son of Allama Ahmad Shafi, Mufti Faizullah, Mufti Moinuddin Ruhi and many others have been left out.
