After six weeks of fighting, the Armenians agreed to cede the territory of Azerbaijan. According to him, the deadline will end at midnight on Sunday (November 15). However, considering the humanitarian aspect, Azerbaijan has extended the time by another 10 days.

Al Jazeera, a Middle East-based media outlet, reported that residents of the opposition Kalbazar region were to leave their settlements on Sunday according to the agreement. The region has been inhabited by ethnic Armenians for decades. However, on Sunday, Azerbaijan extended the deadline for another 10 days.

Hikmat Hajiev, foreign affairs adviser to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, said Armenian forces and their illegal residents had until November 25 to leave the area.

He said Armenia had requested an extension of time through Russian President Vladimir Putin, a mediator in the conflict zone; Ilham Aliyev accepted the offer on humanitarian grounds.

Many Armenians leave their homes and take their belongings in vehicles. Many set it on fire before leaving their settlements.

On Saturday, six houses were burned in the village of Charektar in the border district of Martakart. Residents burned their houses before moving to Armenia.

A local resident said: ‘This is my house. For the Turks, I can’t leave it like that. Everyone is burning their house today. They have given us until midnight to leave the area.

By the way, Armenians refer to the inhabitants of Azerbaijan as Turks. Another 10 houses were burned on Friday.

Al Jazeera reports that when the Nagorno-Karabakh war ended in 1194, thousands of Azerbaijanis lost their homes. Armenians occupied those settlements in Kalbazar. And when they left, the Armenians were burning them.
