Among those arrested are Aminul Islam, 55, son of Golam Ali from the Paschipara area, Wasim, 29, son of the late Sirajul Islam from the same area, Samsuzzaman, 27, son of Solaiman from the bus stop area by Godnail and Maruf Khan, 18, son of Humayun Kabir Khan from the Baburhat area of ​​Chandpur district.

It is known that there was an arrest warrant for Billal Hossain, son of Abul Hossain Montu from the Jalkurhi Koraitala area of ​​Siddhirganj. The defendant was staying at the home of Aminul Islam in the Paschimpara area, the policemen were there on the news.

When they went to the front of Aminul Islam’s house and asked him to open the door, the police began to abuse him. Later, Aminul called the local mosque and said that thieves had broken into his house. When this information was announced to the mosque microphone, between 30 and 40 locals gathered and beat the policemen at random.

Siddhirganj Police Station Duty Officer Faruk Hossain said four people were arrested at the scene. Three policemen were injured in the attack.
