There is great joy in Narail when teenager Sadat Rahman has won the International Children’s Peace Prize. Sadat, a 17-year-old Narail City College student, is a class XII student. Sadat Rahman received the award on Friday (November 13) at a ceremony in the Netherlands.
According to sources, Sadat Rahman has created a mobile application where children, adolescents and victims of cyberbullying can report online and ensure their own safety. With this app, teens can learn to stay safe in the world of the Internet. Sadat’s app has already become popular. In Narail alone, 1,600 people are using the app.
Shafiqul Islam, campaign manager for cyber teens, said Sadat started making the app after hearing that a 15-year-old schoolgirl had decided to commit suicide after being ignored.
