The chairman of the Jatiya Party said that the Jatiya Party wants to survive as the first or second force in Bangladeshi politics. The Jatiya Party makes politics to carry forward the fight to fulfill the expectations of the people.

GM Quader said that Pallibandhu Hussain Muhammad Ershad as head of the presidential government has implemented many reform activities. He broke the colonial system and introduced the upazila system. It has established the Bangladesh pharmaceutical industry as an export-oriented industry through medicine policy.

He said that now everyone is realizing that the implementation of Pallibandhu Hussain Muhammad Ershad’s health policy and education policy has become urgent.

Ghulam Mohammad Quader said that he has been called an autocrat to oppose Ershad’s reform activities by opposing him for the good of the opposition. The people of the country are now beginning to realize that Ershad was a true patriotic statesman.

He said that after the 1990s, the parliamentary system of government has been established according to the three alliance scheme. But by adding article 70 to the constitution, the dictatorship has been indirectly established in the country since the 1990s. Due to section 70, the government’s accountability to parliament is not guaranteed. Democracy or good governance cannot be established without accountability.

GM Quader said that it is not possible to prevent corruption if responsibility is not guaranteed. As a result, corruption and bidding have become common in the country due to lack of accountability. The Jatiya Party is united. Forgetting the differences, the Jatiya Party will move forward to implement the ideology of Pallibandhu Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
