Allegation of insulting the UN in Lalmonirhat

Administrative officials and employees are upset by the abuse of power and immoral behavior of the chairman of Aditmari Upazila Parishad, Farooq Imrul Kayes, in Lalmonirhat. Sixteen officials, including the Upazila Nirbahi (UN) officer, have filed a written complaint against him with the Deputy Commissioner.

When he wanted to know why, he insulted Mansur Uddin in vulgar language. He also threatened: ‘If I talk too much, I will beat him up and send him to Narsingdi. Last Thursday night, 16 officials from Mansur Uddinh Upazila filed a written complaint with the Deputy Commissioner. Copies of the charge sheet have been sent to the local MP, the Minister of Social Welfare and the Rangpur Division Commissioner.
