The police official said a case is being filed in other police stations where buses have been burned.
Although details of the accused were not immediately available, most of them were leaders and activists from BNP and allied organizations, police said. A total of 15 people have also been arrested in these cases
9 buses on fire in Dhaka
Voting for the by-elections in the Dhaka-17 constituency in Uttara took place from 8 am to 4 pm on Thursday.
The first bus fire incident took place around 12 noon after BNP leaders and activists held a procession in Naya Paltan in the morning alleging irregularities in the elections.
