Rajshahi: The Rajshahi district administration has supported Khuki’s current condition through social media. The Rajshahi (DC) Deputy Commissioner has already given instructions to the Prime Minister. Abdul Jalil received him and visited his home.
Earlier, when one of his videos went viral on social media, it piqued the mind of Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Paba Upazila Sheikh Ehsan Uddin. Then he went to the girl’s house. I spoke to him and asked him.
Deputy Commissioner (Land) Sheikh Ehsan Uddin said the deputy commissioner accompanied him to Khuki’s home. They then spoke to the girl and told her that the administration would take care of her.
Khuki told the Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner at the time that his father was an Ansar aide from the Rajshahi District. His mother was a government high school teacher.
After his parents died at a young age, they all cheated on him. No one supported him even in the worst moments. That is why he sells magazines and lives without much difficulty. He has his own home. They were patriarchally prosperous. But his brothers and sisters don’t see him because of some mental problems.
Sheikh Ehsan Uddin said: Khuki has land. There’s a house. However, it must be made habitable. Needs more care. Because he lives alone.
Now his house will be habitable by the Rajshahi district administration. However, in the meantime, many people want to support the girl. Even after this, the Rajshahi district administration will pay the market cost to Khuki every month. In addition, arrangements will be made for their care, the deputy commissioner said.
DC Md. Abdul Jalil said: “We are on the side of Khuki following the instructions of the Prime Minister.” Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ordered that he take care of him. Basically, he asked Khuki to take care of him. He himself has taken care of the girl.
Meanwhile, Khuki is the only magazine vendor in Rajshahi city. He has made a living selling magazines for over 40 years. A video made about him in 2009 went viral on social media Facebook a few days ago.
It has been shown that every day at 6 a.m., the agent wakes up and goes out into town with the newspaper from the local newspaper’s circulation office.
