Span 36 has been placed at Piers 9 and 10 at the Mawa end of the Padma Bridge in Munshiganj. As a result, 5.55 km of the bridge are visible. The tranche was successfully placed at 2:50 am Thursday.

This section was installed 7 days after the installation of section 38. Only 4 spans remained in the bridge. Stretch 36 was installed on October 8.

Executive Engineer of the Padma Bridge (Main Bridge) Dewan. Abdul Quader told Prothom Alo that the Tian-e floating crane left the Kumarbhog construction yard around 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the 150-meter-long span 36 towards the designated pole. The span reaches those two poles of the middle Padma in a short time. The section started up the same day, as there were no technical problems in the next process. Section 36 (section 1-A) will be placed at poles 1 and 2 on November 19 or 20. All subsequent sections are in the Mawa construction yard.

This section was installed within 7 days after section 38. On November 6, section 36 was placed at poles 2 and 3 on the Mawa side. There are still 4 spans so that the entire bridge is visible.
