The current presidential and Republican candidate, Donald Trump, won the US presidential elections in the state of Alaska. The total number of electoral votes in this state is three. The state’s results were announced Wednesday, a week after the election began. Associated Press (AP) reported in a report.
So far, Donald Trump has received 218 votes, including three electoral votes in the state of Alaska, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who received 290 electoral votes, has been declared the winner in the US media. Until members of the Electoral College vote on November 14, it is the US media that unofficially announces the winner of each election.
Several heads of state have already congratulated Joe Biden on his victory. But this victory cannot be accepted by Donald Trump and his electoral field. Trump still hopes to win. In a tweet, Trump said: “We will win.”
“No one can stop the United States government from handing over power, as Donald Trump has said without proof that last week’s election was rigged,” Biden said.
Biden said Tuesday that his party would take over the reins of government on January 20, 2021. “Frankly, nothing can stop us,” he said.
The General Services Administration (GSA), an independent body of the United States government, recognized the winner of the United States presidential election by announcing the winner. Emily Murphy, the GSA chief appointed by the Trump administration, has yet to take the lead.
Camp Biden will be able to work with state funds, government departments and agencies as soon as the head of the GSA signs a letter. However, Murphy said who was elected president has yet to be announced. That’s why you can’t allow Biden’s camp.
According to Reuters, the Biden camp is considering legal action.
