Pakistan’s international airlines could face a ban in 188 countries

Own report: Pakistani foreign travelers and pilots can face big problems. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights to 16 countries can be canceled.

Why such a possibility?

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has a number of criteria for international flights, including pilot licenses. The Pakistani government is not paying attention to it. The PIA can be blocked, especially in the case of pilot licenses. And if so, it can be applied in 16 countries around the world.

Please note that Pakistan Airlines is already prohibited from flying to Great Britain and European Union countries. The only reason for this is the quality of the pilots’ licenses and their training.

In August, Pakistani Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar caused a stir in the country by complaining about the licenses of Pakistani pilots. After becoming a minister, he came to know that the licenses of 262 pilots in the country are noisy. Of these, 141 flew again with Pakistan International Airlines.

In a letter sent to the Pakistani Ministry of Aviation in November, ICAO said the quality of licensing and training for Pakistani pilots was worrying. In such a situation, your flights to 16 countries of the world can be stopped.

Concern has spread among Pakistani pilots over the issue. A spokesperson for the Pakistan Airline Pilots Association told the media that such a ban would be “terrible” for Pakistan’s aviation sector. In June, we got the government’s attention. But the government did not act on it.
