The half-dead body of a housewife named Faima Begum (28) has been recovered from a house in the Yard Colony area of ​​the municipal town of Santahar de Adamdighi upazila de Bogra. Members of the Santahar Town Police Post recovered the body at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Faima’s husband fled after the incident.

According to police and local sources, Faima Begum, daughter of the late Ainul Sheikh of Yard Colony in the municipal city of Santahar, lived with her husband Saiful Islam in her father’s home. The door of Faima’s house had been chained since last Monday night. Neighbors have had a bad smell from Faimar’s house since this morning. They informed the local ward councilor Saiful Islam. The councilor came and saw Faimar’s body through the window and reported it to the police. A team led by Santahar City Police (SI) Police Outpost Deputy Inspector Abdul Wadud recovered Faima’s half-dead body. The body was sent to the morgue of the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Hospital in Bogra for autopsy.

Neighborhood councilor Saiful Islam said Faimar’s husband, Saiful Islam, had been on the run since the incident. He did not pick up the phone when an attempt was made to contact him through his mobile phone.

SI Abdul Wadud said that Faima was initially thought to have been killed. However, the police have presented a case of unnatural death. The exact cause of death will be known if the autopsy report is available. Then action will be taken in accordance with the law.
