Senior Deputy Superintendent of Police Anisul Karim Shipon was beaten to death at Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar, the capital. Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police have detained six people for questioning in the incident. Among the detainees there is a hospital director.

The beating took place in the aggressive management room of the hospital around 12:15 pm on Monday (November 9). Shipon died shortly after being admitted to the hospital due to illness.

However, the hospital authorities told reporters that they tried to calm the police officer for his misconduct.

The Adabar Police Inspector (Operations) said. Farooq Mollah said Shipon last served as a senior traffic AC.

He said: ‘He went to the hospital today at 12:15 pm due to mental problems. There he died around 12 o’clock. Although he was unconscious for a long time, his admission process did not begin. Later, people from the hospital took him to the National Heart Institute. The doctor on duty said Shipon died before he was taken to the hospital.

The inspector said: ‘I saw on the CCTV footage of the hospital, his hand was held. We have taken 7-8 people to the police station for questioning. An investigation and an autopsy of the deceased’s body have been carried out. A murder case will be filed in this incident. Everyone involved will be charged in the case.

Meanwhile, CCTV images of the hospital reached Jago News. It is seen that after Anisul Karim Shipon entered the hospital in the morning, 6-7 people dragged her into a room. There he was thrown to the ground. At that time, two people on the side of his head were hitting him with their elbows. Arif Mahmud, the director of the hospital, was next to him. Shipon’s hands are tied behind his back with a piece of blue cloth. When they turned him over four minutes later, Shipon passed out and passed out.

Anisul Karim Shipon was appointed a police officer in the 31st BCS. Most recently, he worked in the Barisal Metropolitan Police. His home is in Kapasia, Gazipur. He is the father of a son.

The police officer was a student from group 33 of the Department of Biochemistry and Biopsychology at Jahangirnagar University.
