Biden’s victory, Putin remains silent

But four years after Joe Biden was elected president of the United States, the leaders of almost every leading country in the world congratulated him, but the Russian president remained silent.

It has been almost two days since Biden won, but he has said nothing about the US election.

The BBC writes that Moscow is probably not as excited about the results of the US presidential election as before.

Biden, a vocal critic from Moscow, recently named Russia the greatest threat to the United States.

Russian newspapers showed little interest in President Biden on Monday.

Biden has been described as a “lame duck” in the country’s official media, Rashiska Gezieta. Another magazine described him as “old and aged” and put him on the cancellation list.

“For obvious reasons, the Kremlin has been alerted. The official counting of votes in the United States has not yet finished,” Putin said in a statement.
